Participate in promoting smart lighting

Reducing energy consumption and CO2 emissions is a concern with the most modern cities and municipalities. These 'Smart Cities' aim to become leaders in the adoption of new technology that will assist to achieve these goals. Outdoor lighting can play an important role, as it accounts for almost one-fifth of the electricity consumption worldwide. Therefore the TALQ Consortium offers potential users and specifiers of outdoor lighting systems the opportunity to support the development and promotion of smart outdoor lighting.

Partner Program

The TALQ Consortium wants to learn from non-lighting industry stakeholders how they perceive our activities and deliverables. To this end we have created the Partner Program, which is aimed specifically on Municipalities, Utilities, Consultants and all others who do not provide TALQ-certified products themselves, but have an interest in providing us with advice and feedback. This should facilitate adoption of our specification and optimize the operation of smart outdoor lighting management systems.

Becoming a TALQ Partner allows you to

  • evaluate the TALQ specifications for outdoor lighting products and systems first-hand and provide feedback
  • address your individual requirements e.g. for tendering and operational processes
  • participate in regular partner meetings
  • attend promotional events such as presentations, workshops, webinars, etc.
  • benefit from our PR and communication activities
  • be a part of the TALQ website with direct link to your own internet presence
  • receive the TALQ Newsletter and internal TALQ Talk bulletin
  • be up to date with the latest activities of the TALQ Consortium
